REBUILDING WHAT WAS LOST

A week ago, my jewellery dream crumbled into pieces: my home was burgled, and all the jewellery samples I had spent months creating were stolen.

After a year of struggling with an autoimmune condition limiting my capacity to work, I had challenged myself to reconnect with my creativity and relaunch Nodo with a stronger vision. Over the past three months, I designed and handcrafted a new collection I felt incredibly proud of. And in a moment, it was all gone.

I was completely broken. For a while, I truly thought about quitting Nodo, about stopping making jewellery altogether.

The pain of losing not only my personal pieces, but also part of Nodo’s stock and all my new samples, was overwhelming. Yet in that loss, I realised how deeply jewellery has shaped my life, each piece carrying the love of those who gifted it to me, each one holding the milestones of my story.

And somehow, through that, I fell in love with making jewellery all over again, more deeply than before.
The thought that a Nodo piece could be gifted to someone, or mark a meaningful moment in their life, fills me with joy and gives me the strength to carry on.

I make jewellery to celebrate people. To connect them. To make them feel something.

So like a phoenix, I will rise again. I will rebuild slowly, and with even more purpose.

No insurance can cover the true value of what was lost, so if you feel moved to support my work, I would be deeply grateful for any purchase at this moment.
