CLIFF HOOP EARRINGS
The Cliff Earrings are organic elongated hoops handmade with recycled silver, brass or in gold vermeil.
The inspiration for these new pieces comes from the Seven Sisters in Sussex, a series of chalk sea cliffs on the English Channel coast. The white chalk rocks found on the shore have an organic soft texture and their rounded and smooth shape is also tactile and pleasing.
The ancient lost wax technique has been used to patiently reproduce the rock’s organic texture on the hoop’s surface. Each pair is individually hand carved and then cast in your preferred recycled metal.
The classic chunky 90s hoops are now living a second life through this reinterpretation. Nothing is more versatile and yet classic than a pair of hoops: wear them as your everyday jewellery staple or dress them up for a special event.
